Enrollment and Fees

  • Registration: Enrollment is open to all interested students. A completed registration form and payment of fees are required to confirm your spot in the class.
  • Fees: All fees must be paid in advance. We offer various payment plans and accept multiple payment methods. Late payments may result in a suspension of classes until fees are settled.
  • Refunds: Fees are non-refundable, except in cases where the academy cancels a class or program.

Class Attendance

  • Punctuality: Students are expected to arrive on time for classes. Late arrivals may disrupt the learning process for other students.
  • Attendance: Regular attendance is crucial for progress. If a student needs to miss a class, prior notification is required. Make-up classes are not guaranteed and will be subject to availability.

Conduct and Behavior

  • Respect: All students must show respect to instructors, fellow students, and academy property. Disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in dismissal from the academy.
  • Dress Code: Students should dress comfortably and appropriately for a learning environment.
  • Electronic Devices: Mobile phones and other electronic devices should be silenced or turned off during class time to avoid distractions.

Parental Involvement

  • Observations: Parents are welcome to observe classes but must do so quietly without interrupting the session.
  • Support: Parents are encouraged to support their child’s chess education by helping them practice at home and ensuring they attend classes regularly.

Health and Safety

  • Medical Information: Parents must inform the academy of any medical conditions or special needs that their child has. This information will be kept confidential and only used to ensure the child's safety and well-being.
  • Illness: Students who are unwell should not attend classes. Please inform the academy if your child is sick and unable to attend.

Use of Personal Data

  • Confidentiality: The academy respects your privacy. Personal information provided during registration will be used solely for administrative purposes and communication regarding academy activities.
  • Photos and Videos: The academy may take photos or videos during classes and events for promotional purposes. If you do not wish your child to be included, please notify us in writing.

Liability

  • Waiver of Liability: The academy is not responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property that occurs during classes or on academy premises.
  • Insurance: It is the responsibility of parents to ensure that their child is covered by appropriate insurance for any risks associated with attending the academy.

Intellectual Property

  • Materials: All instructional materials provided by the academy are for personal use only and should not be reproduced or distributed without permission.
  • Content: The curriculum and teaching methods used by the academy are proprietary and should not be replicated outside of the academy without consent.

Changes to Terms and Conditions

  • Updates: The academy reserves the right to update these terms and conditions as necessary. Any changes will be communicated to parents and students in a timely manner.
